Hello, my name is Paige Strand, and I am the Founder of The Liminal. The past decade of my life has been spent on the front lines of digital media marketing and public relations in Vancouver, BC. From multinational corporations, publishers, philanthropic organizations and coaching up-and-coming professionals to fulfill their goals, I have had my share of unique experiences that have contributed greatly to the development and founding of this blog.
We Support Improvement
We have a few focuses here at The Liminal, one of which is providing a helpful hub of information curated specifically to help you upgrade your lifestyle, career and financial situation. We often complain about being “too busy” to attempt improvement, yet how do we then develop? Just cut your research hours down to minutes, and visit our knowledge and experience base.
We Support Students and Writers
These days, you are expected to have conquered an internship, five years of work experience and an Olympic Gold medal (at least!) by the time you graduate university (kind of joking, but in a sad way, not really). As someone who worked full-time during a full-time course load at university while interning, I can tell you that gaining that experience is not easy. Based on this, we prioritize helping writers and bloggers gain experience in writing and publishing. If you have an essay you think our readership would find interesting, or would like writing experience, reach out to us.
We Support Change
The word ‘liminal’ represents a threshold which an individual reaches at a point of realization or learning during a transition. Within a liminal stage, the individual exists temporarily in limbo between their previous way of structuring their identity and thinking, and a new way, which learning and awareness will go on to establish. I aspire to create a community in which we can all be challenged and inspired to become stronger and more aware in many ways, whether that’s feeling empowered in your career, in how you spend, or how you live your life. Enjoy!
